Welder Fabricator

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This role involves the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of agricultural machinery, with a strong focus on durability, reliability, and field performance.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Welding and fabrication of agricultural equipment, including: 
  • Slurry pump units, pipe systems, and drag hose machinery 
  • Cultivation and grassland equipment 
  • Bespoke machinery and components 
  • Repair and maintenance of used and customer-owned farm machinery 
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications 
  • Working with mild steel, heavy-duty components, and hydraulic systems 
  • Carrying out on-site repairs (farm-based work may be required) 
  • Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards

Agricultural Engineer

Role Overview 

We are seeking a skilled and time-served Agricultural Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving the maintenance, repair, and servicing of modern and traditional agricultural machinery, workshop based.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery, including: 
  • Tractors, slurry systems, pumps, and drag hose equipment 
  • Cultivation and grassland machinery 
  • Fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems 
  • Carrying out breakdown repairs on-site at farms when required 
  • Preparing machinery for seasonal operations 
  • Supporting fabrication and modification work alongside the workshop team 
  • Maintaining accurate service records and reporting issues 
  • Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards 
  • Essential Skills & Experience 
  • Time-served Agricultural Engineer (apprenticeship or equivalent experience) 
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of agricultural or plant machinery 
  • Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems 
  • Ability to diagnose faults efficiently and independently
