After a discussion with Kings Seeds a plan was put together to seed 8 trial plots in conjunction with the Cereal trial plots for the Summer open day.
The event was executed with the use and operation of a Massey Ferguson tractor operated by James Clarke from Peacock and Binnington's Kirby depot.
Conditions were as can be seen extremely challenging, but a decision was made to continue.

Using a Greenmaster Tined Seed 300 with a 410l hopper with 40 outlets an with a row spacing of 7.5cm we can get optimum cover, with the seed to soil contact being given by the Güttler self-cleaning Matador Prisma roller.
The Seedbed was prepared initially with a heavy duty cultivator to rip out wheeling's and level up, this was made then into a seedbed with the addition of a front mounted Avant Güttler front press with reinforced helpers on the tines.
All in all, we hope to see results very shortly.
