Güttler Harrowmaxx

Harrowmaxx front and rear mounted stubble rake.

The full range of Güttler Harrowmaxx straw residue and Tine Harrow cultivation systems are in place to be able to work and prepare the top 0-30mm of the soil profile working with existing soil moisture and be able to create an optimum stale seedbed environment.  

The units can rake out and remove weeds at the early cotyledon and single leaf stage creating an environment for the decomposition of the Stubble/straw residue and removing forage for any slugs that may be present. 

The product stems from the Greenmaster Grassland system widely used in the UK and Europe, for all forms of Grassland and Arable applications in and around residue, soil and seeding management. 

The product is available in 6.0,7.5m and 8.0m rear mounted machines and 6.0m and 7.5m front mounted machines. 

All rear mounted machines are able to have the Güttler trailed Mayor or Master roller attached as required, particularly desirable if a catch crop or increased germination of weed seed or volunteer cereals are required. 

The Ripper board at the front of the machine with our Patented Rearwards facing ripper board tine,12.0mm thick with a 180mm replaceable “U” tine allows it to be laid back in such a way and have significant pressure placed on it to comb and spread the straw residue through very evenly, there are then 2 rows of 12.0mm Straight rewards facing tines which are able to be stood either vertically or laid flat depending upon residue levels to be dealt with, giving exemplary clearance and strength for the process in hand. 

The Tine arrangement along with the rear gauge wheels which are fully adjustable in 10mm increments allow precise control for this application.

These combinations allow the ground to be fully Raked and Harrowed with operating speeds of between 7-18KPH.

Because the combination of tines and harrows is set up in such away the existing stubble residue can be left fully intact if desired for the next Drilling/Harrowing operation to take place. 

The design of this product is such that the surface is never smeared and the ability of the tines to distribute straw and residue amongst the soils shallow profile at whatever level desired is guaranteed in all seasons and conditions. 

This in turn places the soil in readiness for further passes encouraging improved germination and growth of seedlings to perform stubble cleaning with reduced chemical intervention.
